Lynia only stores the conversations you actively capture to build your personal knowledge base. The following explains what we collect, how we use it, and the control you maintain.

Information We Collect
- Account information from Google/Firebase (name, email, avatar) to verify your identity.
- Preferences and settings (for example, save prompts toggle, extension enablement) stored in your Lynia account.
- Conversations you intentionally save, including prompts and replies. We do not capture any other browsing activity.
How We Use Data
- Sync the browser extension with the web workspace to provide personal knowledge management features.
- Classify, search, and surface your saved content using algorithms that operate only within your account.
- Perform security auditing, abuse detection, and comply with legal obligations when required.
Data Sharing & Control
- We never sell or rent your data, nor share it with advertising platforms.
- We only disclose the minimum necessary data when required by law or to protect the security of the service.
- You can delete individual conversations or request account closure at any time; we honor requests promptly.
Security & Storage
- Data is stored in Alibaba Cloud RDS/MySQL and OSS with HTTPS encryption for all transfers.
- The extension and web app authenticate via Firebase plus HMAC session cookies to secure sessions.
- We regularly audit access permissions and monitor for anomalous activity.
